No rest for the wicked News from the Big Cog Day 58 Kavala - 25.9.05 Daniel relaxed in the cafe while I took the time to explore the town by foot. (so slow, I miss my bike) The aquaduct that divides the city is impressive and I noticed that someone nearby had built their front fence to match. I then climbed to the castle overlooking the city and enjoyed the panorama from the roof of the only building in the castle.
That night, Greece played in the final of the European Basketball championships and while we ate a simple seafood meal at a waterside cafe, we listened to the cheers from adjoining cafes with giant screens and patrons with blue and white faces. At 1.00 Am the parade went down the street celebrating the Greek victory and the party went on all night Stats ND
