Depart minus 5 days and we came to the realisation that with a squash tournament before the ride there was no way I could take the bike, the squash gear and the touring equipment within the 20 Kg passenger limit the airlines would allow us. So the bikes had to go!!

This morning the air freight company came and took my Besty (sequoia) and Daniel's Trek and said they should be waiting for us in London when we arrive. "We move lots of bikes" he said reassuringly. I'll still worry about them till we get there and re-assemle them.

Having said that, packing has become easy now we don't have the strict weight constraints so an extra bottle of sun screen and summer here we come!
