Wait... whats a "Maccabi?" I hear you cry? The Maccabi Games is a 4-yearly event very simular to the commonwealth games in both size and stature. Based always in Israel, this competition accepts a torrent of famous talent such as the legendary swimmer Mark Spits. I'm entering in my first maccabiah so this is a very new experience for me; gymnastics is a very particular sport and having never competed under international rules I can say I'm very daunted by this task. My father, however, is an accomplished veteran of squash and has participated several times, so this is all a run in the park for him. Oh well, 15 days to go until the games begin; its gonna be interesting to say the least!
