If you have ever considered a long cycle tour, visit our site and read about our adventure. We're back now and have put back the 9kg and 7 kg of weight we lost on the 5,000 km ride but we will always be stronger - physically and emotionally for the experience.

On these pages we will show you the 2005 cycling pursuit of John and Daniel Gould (from Australia) and our friend Peter (from Japan).Our challenge was to ride from London to Istanbul through 12 countries in 2 months while having a great time and seeing the sights. Peter was there to Paris and then it was just the 2 of us.

We are not aware of a faster crossing of Europe usupported, but we didn't do it for a record anyway.

For father and son John and Daniel the quest is also try to raise money for Odyssey House.
